We are seeking to make a Director-level appointment to lead and grow our Developer Services business.
This will be a multi-faceted role where you will have accountability for every aspect of your division. Safety, profit and loss, pricing work, business development, logistics, recruitment, operational management will all be your responsibility, so being a good all-rounder is an absolute must. The variety that the position affords will be highly rewarding and you will have the support of the wider Cappagh Group to help you grow and develop the business.
You’ll need to be a self-starter, with an ability to develop your own work leads, build on those to form long-lasting client relationships and win repeat business. As such, you will be strategic in your thinking, but you will also not be afraid to dive into the detail to get things done. You will lead the dedicated developer-led team that you will build as the business grows.
To support that growth, within the first 100 days you will be expected to produce your 3-year business plan to present to the Board and then produce a monthly Board report.
Much of the work will be in and around London where developers require new sewerage and water connections and other services that the Cappagh Group can offer. However, the work can also extend to anywhere in the Southeast. As such you will need to be flexible as to where and when you work.
As would be expected with an appointment of this seniority, the package will be attractive. Notwithstanding a salary commensurate with the position, we offer 25 days’ annual leave, car allowance, defined contribution pension scheme and a bonus scheme that will recognise your efforts and reward you for the results that you will achieve. You will be offered an equity stake in the business.
A full company induction will be provided, a drug and alcohol test will be performed at the induction in accordance with Cappagh’s policy.
