Cappagh has an immediate vacancy for a Full-Time Planner (Internal and External) applicants welcome).


Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the planning function through liaising with Cappagh Operations Team, Highway Authorities, Clients, Enablers, Supervisors and StreetWorks 
  • Raising and keeping a close eye Street Works noticing and permits
  • Communicating with customers / clients clearly on their job status and keeping them informed throughout the customer journey
  • Managing customer issues and complaints to ensure a timely and efficient resolution
  • Achieving/enhancing required Service Level Agreements
  • Using and updating the Thames Water systems with relevant notes and information and highlighting back to the Operation Team where adequate information has not been logged
  • Ensuring suitable records of all customer contact via telephone and letter are kept either hard copies or through client own systems

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • An ability to understand the New Roads and Street Works and Traffic Management Acts and any potential new working practices
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Good time management and highly organised
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and manage expectations
  • Computer literate
  • Great attention to detail
  • Willingness to listen and learn

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience of maintaining databases
  • Experience within a busy office environment
  • Driving Licence
