CEMS Gains Real Traction Across Cappagh Operations as Rollout Accelerates
Platform evolves from implementation to adoption across contracts
The development and rollout of the Cappagh Enterprise Management System (CEMS) continues to progress at pace, with the platform now gaining real traction across live operations and teams beginning to rely on it as a core operational tool.
Over recent months, adoption has increased significantly across contracts, with continued integration across Plant and Equipment, Traffic Management and Health and Safety. Users are reporting improved visibility of operational activities, faster access to critical information and a noticeable reduction in manual administration. The shift away from paper-based processes is also accelerating, supporting both efficiency gains and sustainability objectives.
In parallel, build is well underway for the next phase of expansion, with planning, building and onboarding activities already begun for SGN RepEX, Council Contracts and Complex Civils — marking a significant step towards a fully connected, organisation-wide platform.
Jackie Pope, Head of PMO, said: "In the past few months, we have seen a real shift from implementation to adoption. Teams are not just using CEMS — they are starting to rely on it to manage their operations more effectively. As we prepare to expand into additional contracts, our focus remains on ensuring consistency, usability and value at every stage. CEMS continues to evolve from a development programme into a core operational tool, supporting Cappagh's ambition to work smarter, safer and more efficiently across the business."
