Thames Water has awarded Cappagh the new Slow Sand Filter Refurbishment Framework Contract. Cappagh has today announced that it has been successful in its bid to win work under Lot 1 of the Framework – Media removal and replacement.
The scope of the contract includes the removal of filter bed media, transport to regeneration sites and replacement with clean materials in layers.
The contract is structured with a schedule of rates and covers a period of 3-years, with a possible extension following successful completion.
The bulk of the Contract will take place at Thames Water’s Hampton and Kempton Water Treatment works sites in southwest London.
