Highway Services

Working Collaboratively

Cappagh work on behalf of Local Highway Authorities, playing our part to renew and repair highways, footways and all their associated infrastructure.

Keeping Highways flowing and footpaths in good order is fundamental to so many things – helping us deliver food to supermarkets, take the kids to school, drive to and from work, walk the dog.  According to RAC data at the end of September 2018, there were 38.4 million vehicles licensed for use on the roads in Great Britain, of which 31.6 million were cars.  With average growth predicted to be 640,000 every year, there’s ever-increasing demand on these vital networks.

Highway Services, Cappagh

We work on behalf of Local Highway Authorities, playing our part to renew and repair highways, footways and all their associated infrastructure.  We tend to the thousands of surface water gullies for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, clearing them, renewing them and preventing damaging flooding to properties. We have renewed Kingston town centre’s public realm space by the busy railway station frontage, building beautiful raised traffic tables from granite and constructing a new cycle way along the River Thames. We have completed a similar public realm paving scheme in central Croydon for that Borough, coordinating night works to avoid disrupting busy commuter trams.

Working collaboratively with our clients, on a reactive emergency basis or a planned programme, with work completed in just a few hours or spanning many months, costing a few hundred pounds to multi-millions, Cappagh is dependable and has the proven capability and track record.  From the smallest of tasks to mission-critical projects, clients can truly rely on us to deliver.  At the same time, we add value to the community through the work we do and the way we go about it.
