Vehicle Types
The Cappagh Group of Companies strategy has been to invest in the fleet required to facilitate its day to day business activities, we currently own and operate over 400 vehicles, with bespoke vehicles purchased for each area of the business we specialise in. The fleet is made up of the following vehicle types:

Investing in safety features
Our fleet is modern and is subject to a rolling replacement programme, the fleet is fully EURO VI compliant and we have invested heavily in safety equipment. Every Cappagh HGV is ordered with these safety features as standard:
- Side protection bars on both sides of the vehicle
- 'Sidescan' audible proximity alert
- Offside, nearside, reversing and forward-facing cameras
- In-cab screen for viewing camera imagery
- Warning signs to pedestrians and cyclists
Our in-house mechanical workshops and mobile fitters have state of the art equipment which ensures we are not reliant on third parties to keep our fleet on the road. We are a FORS GOLD accredited company and members of The Road Haulage Association.
