12 yard skip
Please note that 12 yard skips can only be filled with lighter waste – please contact the skips team if you wish to discuss.
You need a licence to locate the skip on the public highway. Licence costs are specific to the local authority the skip will be located in. Licences can take up to 7 working days to process and will be for a duration between 2-4 weeks, dependent on which local authority. (If you are unsure which local authority, lookup where the council tax is paid.)
We can arrange this for most local authorities, but please note that this does not include skips that will be located within parking bays and bus stops – please contact the office to discuss.

Modern Skip Hire Fleet
Our modern fleet of Skip hire vehicles are fully tracked and each of our drivers is fully trained by us. Our investment in technology means that we will print your delivery and collection ticket at your door, meaning no waiting for confirmation. We accept card payments over the phone or via our secure Worldpay facility online or for account customers, we can provide hassle-free paperless billing.
If you don’t have a driveway, or somewhere on your site where you can place the skip off the road, there will be a licence fee to pay to the local authority to site the skip on the public highway whilst you are using it. We can apply for and organise the licence, taking away the need for you to worry about it. We will coordinate the licence so that it is in place in time for the arrival of your Cappagh skip. The licence fee payable depends on the local authority, but our smart online ordering system calculates that for you.
We also offer a “Wait and Load” service where we wait whilst the skip is loaded and then take it away immediately. As the skip isn't left at your address, no skip permit is needed for this type of service.
