Paul Hambidge

Paul Hambidge is the Commercial Director of Cappagh Contractors Construction (London) Limited. Holding a NHD in Civil Engineering, Paul has built an extensive career spanning more than 28 years in the civil engineering industry across both South Africa and the United Kingdom. He joined Cappagh in 2015 and has played a pivotal role in supporting the company’s continued growth and commercial success.

Throughout his career, Paul has been involved in the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including pipelines, airports, tunnelling, rail, earthworks, and utility works. This broad project experience has provided him with a deep understanding of the commercial, contractual, and operational challenges associated with complex infrastructure delivery.

Paul brings significant expertise in contract management, having worked from the perspectives of client, contractor, and subcontractor organisations.

As Commercial Director, Paul has overall responsibility for the commercial and contractual performance of a business generating annual revenues in excess of £80 million. As a member of the senior leadership team, he works closely with project leaders to ensure commercial governance, contractual compliance, and effective risk management across all projects.
