Community Charity – Dons Local Action Group – has taken up residence in Cappagh’s headquarters site in Wimbledon. The Charity, which was formed on 20th March to provide support to the people of Merton and Kingston Boroughs during the Coronavirus pandemic, needed space to receive, sort, store and distribute food and other useful items.
Cappagh had spare space which needed only minor preparation to open up a rent-free facility to support the local community. Dons Local Action Group provides essential support to vulnerable people requiring urgent food donations, delivered to their door.
The storage space is cleaned and prepared by Cappagh staff.
